Youth Music Fund

Our community has always had a sense of pride and responsibility towards its musically talented young people. Youth Music Fund has been proud to support these talented youths for the last 19 years.

In 2008, the Youth Music Fund, Inc. became  part of a wonderful new organization, The Chamber Music Society of Port Townsend. Knowing that, at best, it is difficult to get to Seattle these days, but especially in the winter months, a group of chamber music lovers decided to bring Chamber Music to Port Townsend. The first season was successful and the second promises to be even more exciting.

The Youth Music Fund has a long history of awarding scholarships to young worthy musicians from our area and this  continues to be a goal of the new Chamber Music Society organization as well. We hope to do this through your continued contributions and also using end of year moneys from the Chamber Music Society that will be designated for this purpose. As memberships in the Chamber Music Society continue to increase, we will bring more outstanding musicians from around the country.
